Old-vine Aglianico grapes are grown biodynamically in the Sannio Beneventano area of Campania, Southern Italy. Turrumpiso vineyards are over 50 years old and are located at the highest altitude of the 2-hectare Canlibero estate. Spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts. Macerated 25 days. Bottled unfined and unfiltered, with no added sulfites.
Delicate aromas of red fruit and small berries, with notes of sweet spices and aromatic herbs. Very fresh on the palate, with well balanced tannins and a long and persistent finish.
