This is a gorgeous, pure take on Beaujolais Nouveau from the Burgundian Négociants Jean-Pascal Sarnin and Jean-Marie Berrux, who source grapes from organic and biodynamic winegrowers throughout Burgundy (and in this case, Beaujolais, technically part of Burgundy).

Tasting Notes: A more brooding expression of Beaujolais Nouveau than you'll see each fall, this bottling has developed beautifully and is full of tart currant and bramble, backed by a solid light-medium body and the typically bright acidity of this famous style.

Vinification: 100% Gamay, hand-harvested near the end of 2019 and bottled not long after as is the tradition with Beaujolais Nouveau. The grapes are grown on 50 year-old vines in the granitic soils of Régnié, the youngest of the 10 Beaujolais Crus. The grapes undergo a quick carbonic maceration and the wine is bottled unfined, unfiltered and with no additional SO2. 12%ABV
